Bad News for NatGas: Production up.

Bentek Energy has been reporting that Independence Hub in the Gulf has been near capacity all week. This has increased Gulf production. While other production should have been down more, a high production from the Gulf can still cause an increase in overall production. No matter what the source, the increase in production is VERY bad news for the NatGas price.

Below is a chart that shows what will happen if production continues the current decline. By a simple regression, the estimate of production for the week of 8/14/09 is 390 or about 30bcf a week below current levels. This is a good amount of gas!
